Hopefully this remake will live up to our memories of the original.
#SHADOW OF THE COLOSSUS PC VS PS3 VS PS4 PRO#
Performance mode targets 60FPS, making the whole experience a bit more fluid, but won't look quite as amazing. Shadow of the Colossus is coming to PS4 soon, and Pro users will have a choice between playing it in 'performance' or 'cinematic' mode.

In cinematic mode, the game targets a frame rate of 30 FPS, but some rendering techniques are improved slightly for the optimum visual experience. The other video details the two modes available to PS4 Pro users: 'performance' mode and 'cinematic' mode. As you can see, it's much more detailed and smoother on PS4. Sony has released some details, and two new videos, on the PlayStation Blog, showing off how damn good the game is going to look on PS4.įirst of all, here's a comparison video, showing the PS4 version against the PS2 original and the upscaled PS3 HD release.

Some more details are coming out now, though, with the game's release fast approaching. We've already seen the game's new intro, and heard the developers commentate that same video, but otherwise there hasn't been a lot of news about the upcoming remake. Shadow of the Colossus is coming to PS4 soon, and Pro users will have a choice between playing it in 'performance' or 'cinematic' mode.
